Senior Associate, Manufacturing Engineering

Location: Camden, Arkansas, US; onsite. Schedule: 4/10, with 10-hour workdays across 4 days per week.

What you will do

• Implement moderate enhancements and improvements to manufacturing systems and processes.
• Analyze operational issues and recommend solutions that improve effectiveness.
• Manage projects or processes under general supervision and work toward operational targets.
• Communicate operational processes, practices, and procedures to internal and external contacts.
• Delegate work, review work products, and provide guidance, coaching, and training to employees.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of prior related experience.
• Alternatively, a graduate degree or equivalent with 0–2 years of prior related experience.
• Alternatively, at least 6 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Proficient knowledge of the manufacturing engineering job area and practical knowledge of project management.
• Ability to analyze issues, improve processes, explain and interpret procedures, and manage projects with general supervision.

• Practical knowledge of project management.

• Experience communicating with external parties such as customers and vendors.
• Ability to justify processes and gain cooperation regarding practices and procedures.
