System Administrator for Computing Qual (Testing)

Location: Rehovot, Israel; onsite role with approximately 10% travel. Relocation is not available.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end qualification process for computing solutions, from test-plan creation through hands-on execution and results presentation.
• Integrate and validate computing, storage, and networking systems.
• Perform end-to-end infrastructure performance testing and stress testing for computing modules.
• Test field infrastructure upgrade installers and execute edge-case and “what if?” scenarios.
• Validate that systems meet required specifications and are robust for high-volume manufacturing.
• Approve documentation and procedures, and lead multidisciplinary activities across interfaces and customer support functions.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in computing, system administration, and infrastructure.
• Academic studies in electronics engineering or a bachelor’s degree in computer science.
• MCSE, MCSA, or Linux Administrator certification.
• Ability to challenge systems, troubleshoot complex environments, and work with a hands-on approach.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Emotional intelligence, creative thinking, self-directed learning, and a proactive approach.
• Ability to manage interfaces, support customers, lead multidisciplinary activities across different domains, and lead without authority.

Nice to have

• CCNA certification.
• Experience with testing utilities such as Burning, MemTest, and iPerf.
• Experience with network troubleshooting utilities such as Wireshark.
• PowerShell and automation scripting experience.
• Experience with SAN/NAS storage systems.
• Experience with MS SQL Server, IIS, Group Policy Objects, and Active Directory.
• Experience with VMware or Hyper-V virtualization systems.
