Developer Evangelist (AI)

Salary: $180,000–$220,000 USD per year

hirify.global is building AI Search Infrastructure with vertical indexes and LLM-optimized retrieval systems for AI agents, applications, and enterprise workflows.

What you will do

• Build demos, sample applications, starter kits, and reference integrations across agent frameworks, MCP, coding agents, IDEs, plugins, and related developer tools.
• Contribute integrations, fixes, and examples to open-source projects and turn launches into tutorials, technical blog posts, videos, livestreams, walkthroughs, and documentation improvements.
• Own hirify.global’s developer presence across Discord, Reddit, partner communities, open-source repositories, forums, X, and LinkedIn.
• Build a community of developers, identify power users, and create champion and ambassador programs that support meetups, workshops, demos, contributions, and advocacy.
• Shape hackathons, developer events, conference side events, talks, CFPs, meetups, podcasts, streams, and newsletters.
• Create feedback loops with Product and Engineering and own adoption goals covering signups, activation, API usage, repeat builders, and active champions.

Requirements

• Engineering background with hands-on experience shipping real code in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Experience building with LLM APIs, agents, MCP, and modern AI developer tools, with sufficient depth for technical conversations with senior engineers.
• Visible track record of building in public through GitHub, blog posts, videos, livestreams, or talks.
• Deep connections in the developer and open-source community, at minimum on the West Coast.
• Experience speaking at conferences and organizing meetups, hackathons, or technical conferences.
• Strong writing skills, enthusiasm for writing frequently, and comfort on camera, on livestreams, and on podcasts.
• An authentic, low-hype communication style trusted by developers.
• Highly proactive approach and comfort building programs from scratch.

Nice to have

• Prior DevRel or developer evangelism experience at a developer tools, API, AI infrastructure, or open-source company.
• An existing following on GitHub, X, YouTube, or Twitch.
• Experience running an ambassador or champion program.
• Contributions to popular agent frameworks or AI developer tools.
• National or global reach in the developer and open-source community.
