Software Engineer, Ad Signals

Location: Remote - United States; 100% remote opportunity. Hybrid/onsite work is available from offices in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Chicago.

Base salary: $190,800–$267,100 USD per year, plus potential equity and commission depending on the position offered.

What you will do

• Own backend projects across MMP, SKAN, and App CAPI from requirements and design through implementation, rollout, and ongoing operation.
• Build scalable ingestion and processing services with clear contracts, validation, deduplication, failure recovery, and data lineage.
• Develop integration tooling and diagnostics to help advertisers and partners identify and resolve signal delivery problems.
• Analyze signal quality and delivery metrics, investigate discrepancies, and prioritize improvements with product and data science partners.
• Collaborate with partner engineering and downstream consumers to evolve schemas and integrations without disrupting existing advertisers.
• Incorporate privacy and security requirements into system design and improve engineering quality through testing, design reviews, incident learning, and mentorship.

Requirements

• Senior-level backend software engineering experience delivering and operating scalable production systems.
• Hands-on app advertising signals or mobile measurement experience, with depth in MMP integrations, SKAN, or app conversion APIs.
• Strong programming, API design, distributed systems, and SQL skills.
• Independent problem-solving and data investigation abilities.
• Clear communication and a record of delivering results with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
