Associate Scientist CID (Clinical Immunology and Diagnostics)

Location: United States - New York - Pearl River. On-premise work. Candidates must have permanent work authorization in the United States; U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available.

Annual base salary: $60,200–$100,400. Eligible for a 7.5% bonus target; bonus is not included in the salary range.

What you will do

• Execute high-throughput immunological assays supporting vaccine clinical programs.
• Conduct clinical immunological assays in accordance with Good Clinical Laboratory Practice requirements and standard operating procedures.
• Collect, organize, review, and analyze project data to support troubleshooting, qualification, and laboratory projects.
• Present experimental results at group and project meetings and prepare progress reports as needed.
• Complete laboratory documentation, maintain supplies and reagents, and support daily laboratory operations.
• Complete required GCLP and safety training, collaborate with the work group, and organize work to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field, such as biology, immunology, or microbiology, with 0–3 years of experience.
• Foundation in general scientific practice and the principles and concepts of a relevant scientific discipline.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and complex data analysis.
• Ability to work on-premise and perform the stated physical requirements, including extended sitting at a BSC, light lifting, standing, walking, and bending.
• Permanent authorization to work in the United States by any employer.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and relevant scientific software.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience developing and troubleshooting bioassays assessing antibody functionality.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
