What you will do

• Perform fire and life safety code consulting for Group H-5 semiconductor facilities.
• Develop alternate design methods, code modification submittals, building code concepts, and equivalencies.
• Conduct building plan reviews, site surveys, field reviews, inspections, and fire and life safety system testing activities.
• Review and implement fire protection strategies and prepare building design reports.
• Coordinate with design teams, associated trades, and authorities having jurisdiction.
• Contribute to complex, high-impact project delivery.

Requirements

• Experience in code consulting and developing performance-based strategies in a project design environment.
• Experience developing building code concepts and equivalencies, conducting building plan reviews, and conducting field reviews or inspections.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to present clear and technically sound fire protection engineering strategies.
• Ability to work independently and interact with industry professionals, associated trades, and jurisdictional authorities.
