HR Manager

Location: Corby, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom; hybrid schedule with 4 days on-site in the warehouse and 1 day working from home. The role operates during UK business hours and requires accurate UK Right to Work checks.

What you will do

• Lead the local HR function and manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and employee documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation, ACAS Codes of Practice, UK GDPR, and the Data Protection Act 2018.
• Handle employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary proceedings, sickness absence, performance management, and redundancies.
• Manage UK-compliant contracts, offer letters, restrictive covenants, the Employee Handbook, and monthly payroll operations.
• Adapt global HR policies to UK statutory frameworks and provide operational updates and end-of-day handoffs to US HR leadership.
• Support performance management, employee engagement, well-being initiatives, and workplace culture across the Corby site.

Requirements

• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience in UK HR leadership. CIPD Level 7 is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in an HR Manager or Senior HR role within the UK.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the self-reliance to act as the sole local HR point of contact for Corby staff during UK business hours.
• Experience in a hybrid, warehouse, logistics, or multi-site environment is highly desirable.
• Experience reporting to a remote or international headquarters, specifically US-based leadership, is strongly preferred.
