Quality Assurance Analyst

Location: Trenton, New Jersey, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. Work authorization must not require sponsorship now or in the future.

What you will do

• Review project requirements, specifications, and business expectations to develop comprehensive testing plans.
• Create functional and non-functional test cases, test scripts, acceptance criteria, test procedures, user guidance, and training materials.
• Execute tests under varying conditions to validate functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Document, evaluate, communicate, and report testing results, defects, and program bugs.
• Troubleshoot issues, collaborate with development and cross-functional project teams, and support Agile sprint activities.
• Support testing for systems containing K-12 education data and assist with quality assurance involving Snowflake, Salesforce, Tableau, and automated testing solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing, including creating test cases, test scripts, and acceptance criteria.
• 5+ years of experience executing test cases under varying circumstances and documenting and evaluating test results.
• 5+ years of experience detecting, logging, reporting, and tracking software defects and program bugs, as well as troubleshooting errors.
• 5+ years of experience creating test procedures and training materials.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional project teams.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of experience working with K-12 education data.
• 3+ years of experience using Snowflake, Salesforce, and Tableau.
• 3+ years of experience with automation testing tools and methodologies.
• Experience supporting large-scale government or public-sector technology initiatives.
