Product Development & Marketing Manager (Hair Wellness)

Location: Remote (United States)

Salary: $120,000–$130,000 USD annual base salary, excluding perks, benefits, and applicable bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Own competitive landscape analysis across dietary supplements and topical hair care, including launches, formulations, ingredients, claims, clinical results, pricing, and packaging.
• Build competitive intelligence resources, opportunity assessments, product recommendations, business cases, forecasts, pricing recommendations, and margin targets.
• Execute stage-gate development from ideation and concept through commercialization and launch across supplements and topicals.
• Develop product positioning, value propositions, naming direction, claims strategy, briefs, launch assets, and integrated go-to-market plans for multiple channels.
• Coordinate with Formulation, Clinical & Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, Quality, Packaging, Operations, Supply Chain, Brand, Growth, Retention, Retail, Professional, Education, Creative, and Copy teams.
• Track post-launch KPIs and competitive response, recommend portfolio improvements, and proof packaging artwork and copy for accuracy, compliance, and brand alignment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product development, innovation, and/or product marketing within supplements, OTC, beauty, or personal care; hair care or skincare experience is preferred.
• Proven experience taking products from concept to launch through a cross-functional stage-gate process, ideally across omnichannel businesses.
• Experience conducting competitive analysis and product benchmarking and organizing complex market and consumer information into actionable recommendations.
• Strong business acumen, including experience building business cases, forecasts, and pricing recommendations.
• Working knowledge of claims substantiation and regulatory considerations for structure/function and/or cosmetic claims under FDA, FTC, and NAD guidelines, including taking claims through Regulatory and Legal review.
• Experience writing product, creative, and copy briefs that drive clear, on-strategy work.
• Ability to translate complex scientific and technical information into clear, compelling, consumer-friendly language.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, plus excellent written, verbal, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
