Associate Principal Resident Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: United States; hands-on onsite work at power plants, substations, manufacturing floors, and refineries. Willingness to travel up to 25% is required.

What you will do

• Plan, scope, implement, and deploy the hirify.global Platform in customer environments, including onsite installations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solution Architects, and customer teams to define use cases, success criteria, network architecture, sensor placement, integrations, and platform objectives.
• Tune and optimize the platform, monitor solution health and availability, and coordinate upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.
• Develop foundational content and workflows based on customer use cases and value propositions.
• Provide knowledge transfer, training, documentation, troubleshooting, break/fix support, and escalation management.
• Communicate upcoming features and releases, gather customer feedback, collaborate with Intelligence and Threat Hunting teams, and identify opportunities for additional products and services.

Requirements

• 5+ years of ICS/OT and cybersecurity experience.
• Strong knowledge of IP networks, the OSI model, the Purdue model, and ICS protocols.
• Experience with Linux command line.
• Experience with on-premise and cloud enterprise software solutions while managing multiple stakeholders and projects.
• Customer-oriented approach with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Nice to have

• Experience with the hirify.global Platform.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Shell script.
• Electric Sector or NERC CIP experience.
