Sr. Network Architect (AI)

Location: Hybrid, based in the Nashville office, United States

Annual base salary: $188,000–$207,000, plus benefits and a discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Define and own target-state architecture for enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, and network security across global offices and data centers.
• Design Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls, security policies, NAT, threat prevention, segmentation, NAC, and zero-trust architectures.
• Architect SD-WAN, VPN, AWS and/or Azure connectivity, and network architecture for AI service consumption through OpenAI and Bedrock.
• Establish routing and switching standards for BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, and VXLAN across Cisco Catalyst and Meraki platforms.
• Lead network architecture for office build-outs, migrations, technology refreshes, documentation, capacity planning, monitoring, and complex incident root-cause analysis.
• Define automation and configuration-management strategy, mentor network engineers, provide tier-3 escalation, and participate in an on-call rotation for critical outages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 15+ years of network engineering experience in enterprise or service-provider environments, including significant network design and architecture ownership.
• Deep, design-level knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and Cisco Catalyst and Meraki platforms.
• Working experience with network security, Palo Alto or Cisco firewalls, and segmentation.
• Comfort using GenAI tools for configuration validation, documentation, and automated testing.
• Design-level experience with SD-WAN and cloud networking in AWS and/or Azure.
• Solid understanding of network monitoring, packet analysis, and performance troubleshooting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.

Nice to have

• CCIE, CCNA, CCNP, AWS, Azure, or other industry and cloud certifications.
• Experience with network automation using Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Familiarity with media and entertainment workflows or high-bandwidth production environments.
• Experience supporting global, multi-site organizations with 24x7 availability requirements.
