Focus on requirements capture, design trades, real-time software, verification and validation, and supporting flight operations.

Location: On-site in El Segundo, California, United States. The role requires U.S. person status and lawful authorization to work in the United States because of access to export-controlled technology.

Salary: $169,067–$216,031 per year, plus potential stock options and/or long-term cash awards.

  • 5+ years of experience developing spacecraft or similar safety-critical software.
  • Experience developing and testing real-time embedded hardware and software systems.
  • Experience developing in C++ with a strong understanding of language concepts.
  • U.S. person status and lawful authorization to work in the United States are required because of ITAR-controlled technology access.

Nice to have

  • Experience with safety-critical software, especially in aerospace applications.
  • Experience with additional programming languages such as Python or Rust.
  • Strong understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, data structures, and computer networking.

Culture & Benefits

  • Eligibility for stock options and/or long-term cash awards.
  • Inclusive equal-opportunity workplace with evaluation based on merit, qualifications, and performance.
