Shipping Coordinator (International Logistics)

What you will do

• Arrange domestic and international shipping and associated logistics for luxury goods, rarities, and purchased lots.
• Manage the end-to-end post-sale shipping process, including client enquiries, quotations, collection, export, communication, tracking, and final delivery.
• Obtain and assess vendor quotes, select suitable service providers, and coordinate packing, local transportation, shipping, security, and consolidated shipments.
• Prepare and maintain shipping, customs, licensing, and regulatory documentation, including CITES applications and customs tariff classifications.
• Monitor shipments, resolve logistics issues with vendors, communicate status updates, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Coordinate with pre-sale, post-sale, international office, and management teams on client service, vendor performance, service levels, and KPIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years of experience in international shipping.
• Fluency in English and French is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping and logistics, including import/export procedures, customs regulations, transportation methods, and current packing methods.
• Action-oriented, proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced, client-focused, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong client service, communication, interpersonal, organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to remain calm in pressure situations, learn quickly, work independently, and collaborate as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekend hours when necessary.

Nice to have

• Experience in fine art, luxury goods, or high-value shipping.
• Additional language skills.
• Prior experience with SAP.
