Analytics Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own the datasets supporting month-end close and regulatory reporting.
• Automate manual reporting and reconciliation work into scheduled pipelines, runbooks, and reusable dbt models.
• Build reports and reconciliations for new products and markets as they launch.
• Create models that enable people and AI agents to answer recurring data requests.
• Build tests, checks, and alerts to identify reconciliation breaks and stale data.
• Collaborate with Finance, Compliance, Treasury, Product, and Data Engineering; review code and participate in weekly meetups.

Requirements

• 1–2+ years of experience in a data or analytics role.
• A technical or quantitative degree, or equivalent experience.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with messy, complex data.
• Some experience automating repetitive work, such as scripts or scheduled jobs.
• Strong ownership, including fixing broken, ownerless, or late work and preventing recurring issues.
• Reliability under deadlines, a “no task too small” attitude, and comfort following up with stakeholders.
• Right to work in the UK.
