Senior Food Regulatory Advisor

What you will do

• Provide professional regulatory services and consultancy to key retail clients.
• Ensure food products are safe and legally compliant across technical and regulatory requirements.
• Interrogate product specifications and prepare or review product specifications, pack copy, and final artwork.
• Support compliance with food labelling legislation, technical standards, and advertising requirements.
• Act as a point of expertise for complex regulatory categories and queries.

Requirements

• Experience working within the Food Supplement Industry is required due to business requirements.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Food Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs or a related food industry role.
• Strong knowledge of UK and EU food legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Experience preparing and approving legally compliant pack copy and artwork.
• Experience completing online retailer specifications.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and time-management skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
