Operational Language Analyst Level 3 with Security Clearance (SIGINT)

Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland, United States. U.S. citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph are required.

Salary: $122,000–$168,000 per year.

What you will do

• Process voice and graphic language materials in support of SIGINT operations.
• Recover essential elements of information from foreign-language materials.
• Translate and transcribe complex and sophisticated written and spoken material.
• Produce gists of complex written and spoken material.
• Scan, sort, and categorize foreign-language material.
• Perform quality control reviews of translations and transcripts, including audio and text translations.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• At least 10 years of full-time combined cryptologic language processing, related language, and/or related cryptologic experience, plus a bachelor’s degree. Four additional years of related applied practical work experience may replace the degree.
• At least 6 of the 10 years must involve Cryptologic Operations language processing.
• At least 4 of those 6 years must involve cryptologic language processing in the required language.
• At least 3 of those 6 years must involve translating and/or transcribing and gisting in the required language.
• At least 1 of those 6 years must involve quality control review of both audio and text translations at ILR Level 3 in the required language.
• Recent validated ILR Skill Level 3 proficiency, obtained within the last two years; scores and test date must appear on the resume.
• No more than 3 of the required 10 years may have reporting as the primary duty.
• At least 1 year of experience in the required language must have been completed within 6 years of resume submission.
