Tactical Buyer - Repairs (Gas Turbines)

What you will do

• Execute and coordinate tactical purchasing activities for gas turbine component repairs, including blades, vanes, and combustion parts.
• Place purchase orders and ensure compliance with agreed commercial terms and conditions within the assigned supplier scope.
• Coordinate with the Commodity Manager, Operative Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, and other internal stakeholders.
• Monitor supplier capacity, deliveries, and performance while maintaining close supplier contact.
• Plan and prioritize purchasing activities based on demand, supplier capacity, and business needs.
• Onboard and help qualify new repair suppliers while proactively addressing delivery, cost, lead-time, capacity, and supply-chain risks.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a Tactical Buyer or in a similar role, combined with a relevant degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong analytical and planning skills, with a structured approach to converting complex challenges into clear priorities and actions.
• Flexible and accountable mindset, confident decision-making, adaptability, and proactive collaborative communication.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in both Swedish and English.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP.
• Knowledge or experience of repair processes for gas turbine parts and Service operations.
