Microsoft Forward Deployed Engineer (Power Platform)

What you will do

• Embed with client engineering teams, work alongside them, and access live infrastructure.
• Build Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps for web and mobile use.
• Create automated business processes and multi-step approvals with Power Automate.
• Integrate applications with Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and external APIs.
• Build interactive reports and dashboards with Power BI.
• Gather requirements, troubleshoot performance, resolve bugs, manage security roles, provide user training, and translate client-specific roadblocks into product and model roadmap feedback.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of hands-on professional experience building Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Power Apps integration.
• Knowledge of Power FX.
• Experience designing and coding Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps, automating workflows, connecting data sources, and building Power BI reports.
• Ability to combine software engineering, data analysis, troubleshooting, and high-level client communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant business domain knowledge.
• Industry credentials expertise including PL-900, PL-100, PL-200, and PL-400.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in JavaScript and Python.
• Understanding of the Zero Trust framework and incident response remediation.
• HTML, CSS, or C# for custom plugins and advanced client-side scripting.
