What you will do

• Define Alpha’s product vision, target segments, differentiation, roadmap, and customer-driven priorities for institutional investors, lenders, and financial analysts.
• Lead discovery with analysts, portfolio managers, credit teams, enterprise buyers, and senior financial stakeholders, using research, prototypes, and pilots to validate demand.
• Own investment and credit workflows covering opportunity screening, company and sector research, due diligence, valuation support, underwriting, credit analysis, covenant review, and portfolio monitoring.
• Translate user needs into AI requirements involving models, RAG, context, memory, tool use, and agent orchestration, while ensuring traceable outputs, reliable document and table extraction, and analyst approval workflows.
• Lead product delivery from discovery through launch and iteration, balancing quality, reliability, latency, cost, pricing, packaging, onboarding, and customer adoption.
• Align Design, Engineering, Science, domain, Growth, Security, Legal, Risk, and customer success stakeholders; mentor product managers and contribute to hiring.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in product management or closely related roles, including substantial ownership of complex products at senior or principal level and a record of launching and scaling financial technology.
• Working fluency across institutional investment and credit workflows, with experience building products for analysts, investment teams, lenders, or risk professionals.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation, leverage, credit risk, financial models, and analytical assumptions.
• Experience delivering enterprise software with measurable adoption and commercial impact, including direct customer discovery and engagement with senior financial stakeholders.
• Experience taking AI-powered products such as agents, copilots, or intelligent workflows from concept to production and measurable adoption.
• Practical fluency in large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, context, memory, tool use, and evaluations, with the ability to reason about quality, latency, reliability, and cost alongside technical teams.
• Hands-on use of AI tools to prototype workflows, test model behaviour, and accelerate research, analysis, or delivery.
• Strong analytical and commercial skills, including hands-on use of Excel, SQL, or comparable tools to investigate data, test hypotheses, and measure outcomes.
• Clear written and verbal communication, cross-functional leadership, sound judgement in ambiguous environments, and a focus on accuracy and customer trust.
• A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, computer science, engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in investment banking, asset management, private equity, private credit, corporate lending, or credit research alongside product leadership.
• Experience with financial data providers, document intelligence, financial modelling tools, enterprise integrations, or data-access controls.
• Experience with financial institutions, sovereign deployment, and regulated enterprise procurement.
• Arabic language ability or bilingual product experience.
• CFA, FRM, another relevant finance qualification, or equivalent practical depth in investment or credit analysis.
