Middle SAP CAR/IS-Retail Consultant

Location: Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Georgia, Romania, or Albania; hybrid or remote.

What you will do

• Participate in SAP CAR implementation, enhancement, and support activities for international retail projects.
• Support configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of SAP CAR components, especially POS Data Transfer and Audit (POSDTA).
• Analyze and monitor data flows between POS systems, SAP CAR, and SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC.
• Investigate transaction-processing errors, data inconsistencies, and integration issues with technical teams.
• Collect, analyze, and document functional requirements with business stakeholders.
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documentation, test cases, user instructions, and support deployment, UAT, and post-go-live activities.

Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience as an SAP Functional Consultant, preferably in SAP CAR or SAP IS-Retail.
• Understanding of SAP Customer Activity Repository (CAR) architecture and its integration with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC.
• Knowledge of retail business processes, including POS transactions, sales processing, inventory management, and data integration.
• Familiarity with SAP CAR POS Data Transfer and Audit (POSDTA), including transaction processing, validation, and error handling.
• Basic understanding of SAP integration technologies, including IDocs, RFC, APIs, and data interfaces.
• Ability to analyze business requirements, troubleshoot functional issues, and prepare functional specifications.
• English at B2+ level.
