hirify.global delivers technology solutions for a global asset, investment, and financial products management company operating in the U.S. and more than 40 countries.
What you will do
Design and implement end-to-end Microsoft Fabric solutions across OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, notebooks, SQL/PySpark, and Power BI.
Build scalable medallion architectures and batch or incremental pipelines integrating relational databases, files, APIs, cloud services, and other enterprise sources.
Build and optimize Power BI semantic models, including dimensional models, DAX, aggregations, incremental refresh, Import, DirectQuery, Direct Lake, and composite models.
Diagnose and resolve performance issues across pipelines, Delta tables, SQL workloads, semantic models, reports, and Fabric capacity.
Define patterns for workspaces, domains, environments, OneLake sharing, security, governance, deployment, data quality, lineage, monitoring, and operational controls.
Provide technical leadership, lead assessments and proofs of concept, develop reusable engineering patterns, and support modernization and production operations.
Requirements
8+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, analytics engineering, or enterprise data-platform delivery, including significant hands-on implementation.
Strong hands-on production experience with Microsoft Fabric across several core workloads, including Lakehouse/Warehouse, Data Factory pipelines, notebooks, SQL/PySpark, and Power BI semantic models.
Deep practical knowledge of OneLake, Fabric Lakehouse, Fabric Data Warehouse, Data Factory, Spark/notebook engineering, Power BI, medallion architectures, Delta Lake, Parquet, and scalable data processing.
Experience with ingestion, transformation, orchestration, incremental processing, large-scale workloads, relational databases, files, APIs, cloud services, and enterprise data sources.
Strong SQL skills and practical production experience with Python and/or PySpark.
Strong data-modeling fundamentals, including dimensional modeling, star schemas, facts and dimensions, shared or conformed dimensions, and slowly changing dimensions.
Experience building and optimizing enterprise Power BI semantic models using DAX, Power Query, aggregations, incremental refresh, and performance optimization; practical understanding of Direct Lake, Import, DirectQuery, and composite models.
Experience diagnosing and optimizing SQL, pipelines, data processing, semantic models, Power BI reports, Fabric workloads, and Fabric capacity, including workload monitoring, capacity constraints, query optimization, and cost/performance considerations.
Experience with existing enterprise data and BI environments, troubleshooting, optimization, modernization, incremental migration, Git-based development, CI/CD, automated testing, and environment management.
Practical knowledge of security, access control, governance, lineage, data protection, Entra ID, RBAC, RLS/OLS, managed identities, data quality, reconciliation, observability, monitoring, and operational reliability.
Ability to translate complex requirements into working solutions, own delivery from design through production support, make architecture decisions, and remain a hands-on contributor.
