Data Engineer (Microsoft Fabric)

What you will do

• Own and support Fabric AI initiatives, enterprise data pipelines, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI solutions, and analytics operations.
• Design, build, test, deploy, maintain, and monitor Fabric Data Agents, data pipelines, transformations, semantic models, and Power BI solutions.
• Triage pipeline failures, report defects, refresh issues, access problems, and data-quality incidents; perform root-cause analysis and maintain runbooks.
• Migrate business dashboards and datasets into governed Fabric and Power BI solutions, and validate reports, measures, and metrics.
• Administer workspaces, permissions, deployment processes, service principals, monitoring, and lifecycle controls.
• Partner with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, Customer Success, and Engineering on requirements, testing, releases, documentation, training, adoption, governance, and reusable analytics standards.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, BI development, or a related enterprise data role.
• Strong SQL, Python, PySpark, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI experience.
• Experience building and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines, transformations, validations, semantic models, and production reporting.
• Working knowledge of Fabric and Power BI security, permissions, workspace design, and deployment practices.
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft AI ecosystem and Fabric Data Agent architecture, design, and solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting, data-flow analysis, documentation, testing, and production-support skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, governed, secure, and supportable analytics solutions.
• Effective collaboration across distributed teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure data services, Power BI, the Microsoft AI ecosystem, DevOps, APIs, data governance, and AI-ready analytics platforms.
