Head of Data (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in München, Germany

What you will do

• Identify opportunities across the company to create data-driven business value.
• Define data management and data governance guidelines and ensure compliance with engineering guidelines.
• Advise the Data Tribe and wider organization on data-driven ways of working.
• Lead the Data Tribe and mentor and coach the corresponding Team Leads.
• Act as Data Protection Coordinator for the Engineering Department.
• Manage data infrastructure and analytics while supporting data governance, data integrity, and ICT operations.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Natural Science, Mathematics, or a similar field.
• Excellent knowledge of data science and machine learning models.
• Excellent knowledge of data-driven business applications.
• Good stakeholder management skills.
• Several years of data project management experience.
• Several years of people management experience.
• Excellent English communication skills.
