Fraud & Dispute Analyst (Fintech)

What you will do

• Handle Visa and Mastercard disputes and chargebacks within acquiring operations.
• Manage cases throughout the complete dispute lifecycle.
• Collect, review, and prepare supporting evidence.
• Prepare and submit chargeback responses and representments.
• Monitor dispute deadlines and compliance with card scheme requirements.
• Communicate with merchants and internal teams while maintaining accurate dispute records and reporting.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in disputes, chargebacks, or fraud within a fintech, bank, or acquiring environment; internship experience is welcome.
• Basic understanding of the card payment ecosystem, including issuers, acquirers, merchants, card schemes, transaction lifecycle, authorization, clearing, and settlement.
• Understanding of common fraud types and the differences between fraud, friendly fraud, and merchant-related disputes.
• Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple cases and prioritize by deadline.
