Payments & Risk Manager (Web3)

Location: Remote from Serbia; access to hubs in Dubai, Yerevan, London, and Belgrade

Company

Develops Web3 infrastructure and consumer-facing applications integrated with Telegram, including wallets, developer resources, SDKs, APIs, marketplaces, and ecosystem products.

What you will do

• Own fraud and chargeback risk end to end, including risk strategy, target loss levels, and controls for buyers and creators.
• Keep chargeback ratios within card-scheme thresholds and decide on reserves and payout holds.
• Manage the payment provider portfolio, including provider selection, commercial negotiations, and launches.
• Design payment routing and cascading strategies to improve conversion and reduce processing costs.
• Build risk processes, team roles, and escalation paths across Support, Moderation, and Engineering.
• Act as the key payments and risk counterpart for providers, acquirers, and card schemes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of payments experience in a PSP, marketplace, fintech, gaming, or creator economy company with global card acceptance, including ownership of fraud or risk outcomes.
• Deep knowledge of card payments, including 3DS and liability shift, the chargeback lifecycle, Visa and Mastercard monitoring programs, routing, and cascading.
• Track record of negotiating with and launching payment providers.
• Strong analytical skills and hands-on SQL experience.
• Ability to own decisions with direct financial impact and drive cross-team work.
