Software Engineer - SDN

Location: Poland (Hybrid); office location: Centrum Biurowe Vinci, Krakow, Malopolskie, 31-323, PL

What you will do

• Build tools and develop new features for distributed software-defined networking software.
• Develop tests, test automation, testing frameworks, and performance benchmarks.
• Design reliable, high-quality, usable software for an indefinitely scalable deployed network.
• Create reusable code and libraries.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on communication and code development.
• Create developer documentation for authored tools when applicable.

Requirements

• Experience writing code in Java.
• Working knowledge of frameworks such as Spring.
• Experience with other programming languages, including Go and Python.
• Understanding of networking concepts, including IP addressing, IP routing, commonly used protocols, and networking equipment.

Nice to have

• Experience with C.
