Senior Golang Engineer (Data Management)

Location: Prague, Czech Republic; primarily in-office work from the Prague office is required, except during PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.

What you will do

• Design and build high-performance backend systems in Go for complex enterprise environments.
• Solve engineering challenges involving concurrency, distributed systems, scalability, performance, and fault tolerance.
• Own capabilities from technical design and implementation through testing, deployment, production troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
• Integrate new data sources, storage systems, cloud services, and enterprise platforms.
• Influence platform architecture and technical direction as scale and complexity increase.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Architecture, QA, and DevOps/SRE to deliver reliable technical solutions.

Requirements

• Deep, hands-on Go expertise, with Go used as a primary language for production software.
• Experience designing and building complex backend or distributed systems that operate reliably at scale.
• Strong understanding of concurrency, distributed system design, performance optimization, fault tolerance, and system reliability.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills for investigating difficult production, performance, and system-level problems.
• Experience taking technical solutions from design through production, with ownership of quality, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
• Collaborative engineering mindset and ability to contribute to architecture and technical decisions across teams.
