Identity Professional Service Senior Consultant (Cybersecurity)

Location: Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. The candidate must be based in Japan and work primarily from the office; periodic off-hours support is required for planned customer maintenance windows, upgrades, or migrations. Immigration sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Lead enterprise-wide deployments and lifecycle management of the Identity Security platform across SaaS, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.
• Run discovery workshops, define success criteria, and design end-to-end identity security architectures aligned with Zero Trust, compliance standards, and multi-cloud environments.
• Configure, integrate, and test platform modules across Windows, Unix, Active Directory, cloud identity providers, AWS, Azure, and hybrid infrastructure.
• Guide platform migrations, upgrades, maintenance windows, and transitions from legacy self-hosted architectures to cloud-native services.
• Build executive and technical relationships, develop platform roadmaps, support onboarding and expansion, and advocate for customer needs across R&D, Product Management, Support, and Sales.
• Perform platform health checks, track security posture and usage analytics, report KPIs to technical and C-level audiences, and create architecture documentation and enablement materials.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience deploying, architecting, or consulting on Privileged Access Management or broader Identity and Access Management solutions.
• 7+ years of total professional experience within an enterprise software company, cybersecurity vendor, or systems integrator.
• Experience as a technical account manager, consultant, or trusted advisor delivering measurable business outcomes.
• Deep knowledge of PAM, Identity Governance & Administration, network security, enterprise directory services including Active Directory, LDAP, and Azure AD/Entra ID, plus AWS and Azure cloud architecture.
• Hands-on experience installing and configuring enterprise security software on Windows and Linux/Unix platforms, including practical PAM migration experience from self-hosted environments to SaaS or Privilege Cloud.
• Knowledge of regulatory risk frameworks such as HIPAA, SOX, PCI-DSS, and NERC-CIP.
• Experience presenting complex technical concepts to technical leads and C-level executives, with strong project management, organization, prioritization, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence skills.
• Ability to translate technical identity capabilities into strategic business value and long-term platform adoption.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to support planned customer maintenance windows, upgrades, and migrations outside standard working hours.

Nice to have

• Industry certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or specialized PAM/IAM product certifications.
