Corporate Security Specialist (Cybersecurity)

Location: Chiba, Japan; partially remote, primarily working from home with occasional office attendance based on business needs. Other listed locations: Makuhari, Japan and Tokyo, Japan.

What you will do

• Manage corporate security activities covering physical security, emergency response planning, data privacy, information protection, and incident management.
• Support the protection of employees, facilities, property, client information, and organizational information.
• Manage entry and exit controls, security systems, disaster response, crisis management, and incident or accident response.
• Conduct risk analyses of company sites and organizational processes, assessing internal and external threats and recommending additional security measures.
• Collaborate with Asia-Pacific and global security teams to ensure compliance with global governance and lead the implementation of security policies and technologies in Japan.
• Distribute security education materials and develop global security policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Knowledge and experience in corporate security governance.
• Basic knowledge of physical security operations, management, equipment, and technology.
• Project management experience for global system or process implementation.
• Knowledge and experience in crisis management, disaster response, and business continuity.
• Experience handling incidents, accidents, investigations, and violations of company regulations.
• English communication skills for remote meetings with security personnel in Asia, Europe, and the United States, email discussions, and reporting.
• Communication and management skills for collaboration with internal stakeholders and security vendors, including guarding and security-system providers.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and OA equipment.
• Fluency in Japanese is required.
