Technical Program Manager, Supercomputing Infrastructure and Operations (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States

Salary: USD $142,800–$274,800 per year across the U.S.; USD $188,000–$304,200 per year in the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area.

What you will do

• Plan and execute AI and HPC infrastructure programs from design through deployment.
• Track milestones, schedules, risks, dependencies, capacity forecasts, and system-readiness metrics across hardware, software, supply chain, and datacenter operations.
• Coordinate engineering, hardware, software, finance, supply chain, and datacenter delivery stakeholders.
• Manage weekly program syncs, executive reporting, dashboards, trackers, and scorecards.
• Support configuration management, validation testing, performance benchmarking, and operational readiness for AI cluster deployments.
• Document best practices, lessons learned, and workflow improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical or mechanical engineering, or a related STEM field.
• 5–7 years of experience in technical program management, engineering operations, or datacenter project coordination.
• Strong understanding of computer infrastructure, including GPUs, CPUs, accelerators, networking, and storage.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Excel, Power BI, Microsoft Project, JIRA, or Smartsheet.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI/ML workloads, distributed training, or HPC scheduling with tools such as Slurm or Kubernetes.
• Experience supporting hardware deployment or system integration in datacenter or laboratory environments.
• Understanding of Microsoft Azure services, particularly Compute, Networking, and AI Infrastructure.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
