D365 Functional Consultant (Microsoft Dynamics 365)

Location: Melbourne or Adelaide, Australia. Full Australian working rights and unrestricted rights to work in Australia are required.

What you will do

• Conduct stakeholder workshops, analyse business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and document business requirements.
• Configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 modules and recommend best practices and standard functionality.
• Prepare Functional Design Documents and support end-to-end solution delivery.
• Identify process optimisation opportunities and recommend new D365 features and enhancements.
• Support system upgrades, release management, unit testing, and business-user User Acceptance Testing.
• Participate in an on-call roster, remunerated through a hirify.global dislocation allowance.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant.
• Experience configuring D365 applications.
• Experience gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements.
• Experience preparing Functional Design Documents and supporting end-to-end solution delivery.
• Experience supporting testing activities, including unit testing and UAT.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Full Australian working rights and unrestricted rights to work in Australia.

Nice to have

• Degree qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant certification.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience in retail, convenience, supply chain, or logistics environments.
