Senior Unity Engineer (Game Development): Building and supporting live-service game features and backend functionality for seasonal content with an accent on server-authoritative systems, client prediction, and cloud services. Focus on extending the existing tech stack, implementing persistent data migrations, and resolving live issues across mobile game products.

Location: Remote, Argentina or Brazil

hirify.global is a globally remote game development company specializing in co-development, porting, and end-to-end art production for the global gaming industry.

What you will do

  • Partner with product owners and engineers to ship updates to the existing technology stack.
  • Turn wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs into functional game features.
  • Extend the technology stack to support new offers and user-facing functionality.
  • Develop backend systems and server functionality supporting frontend features.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair live issues while supporting the release of seasonal content.

Requirements

  • Experience creating persistent data schemas, versioning systems, and data migrations.
  • Experience building server-authoritative features with client prediction.
  • Experience implementing backend features and deploying cloud services.
  • Experience with Git, .NET, and AWS.
  • Experience with mobile game development.

Nice to have

  • Experience with React and Next.
  • Experience with Vue.
  • Experience with Claude Code.
