Logistic Transportation Pricing Analyst (Air Pricing)

Location: Cerritos, CA, United States; onsite. Willingness to travel up to 20% for business-related needs and work additional hours, weekends, or holidays when required.

Compensation: USD 30–32 per hour.

What you will do

• Source, evaluate, qualify, and manage airlines, freight forwarders, GSAs, CFSs, air cargo handling agents, drayage providers, and intermodal carriers.
• Negotiate airline agreements, including BSAs, GSA agreements, and SPAs, covering rates, capacity, service commitments, payment terms, and contractual conditions.
• Develop and manage RFQ/RFP packages for Samsung and non-Samsung business, coordinate competitive bidding, and validate supplier quotations.
• Analyze air freight, fuel, security, handling, documentation, pickup and delivery, customs brokerage, dangerous goods, and accessorial costs.
• Build financial simulations, cost comparison models, landed-cost analyses, and total logistics cost analyses; benchmark rates, capacity, and transit times.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, Finance, Legal, Customer Service, and Global Procurement on pricing proposals, procurement strategies, reporting, and process improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or Finance preferred.
• 4+ years of experience required in freight forwarding, 3PL, or logistics sourcing/operations, with a strict focus on air freight.
• Hands-on experience managing RFP/RFQ processes and conducting financial data analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, Data Validation, VLOOKUP, COUNTIF, SUMIF, and Power Query.
• Strong problem-solving skills and negotiation tactics.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional global teams.
• Ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work additional hours, weekends, or holidays outside regular business hours when critical business needs require it.
• Fluency in Korean and English.

• Experience working directly within a major freight forwarder, broker company, or 3PL.
