Process Engineer Project Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Brook Park - Snow Rd, United States; shift rotations are required for training purposes only.

What you will do

• Program, operate, and train employees on manufacturing equipment.
• Evaluate and develop manufacturing processes using product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials knowledge.
• Calculate production, labor, and material costs and review production schedules to support manufacturing decisions.
• Prepare product and process reports by analyzing production information and trends.
• Lead process improvement, problem-resolution, project-management, cost-reduction, quality-improvement, and efficiency initiatives.
• Support production control, standard operating procedures, safety, quality control, manufacturing launches, and employee training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing technology preferred, or at minimum an associate degree in an engineering discipline; equivalent manufacturing experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 3–5 years of demonstrated experience in a recognized technical field or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods, and tool design.
• Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and quality assurance techniques.
• Ability to work independently, remain self-motivated, solve problems, and work as part of a team.
• Commitment to health and safety standards and environmental regulations.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with relevant software such as CAD and Microsoft Office.
• Project management experience, including leading cross-functional teams in product launches.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while handling fluctuating workloads.
• Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), and Part Production Approval Process (PPAP).
