Value Stream Leader (Lean Manufacturing)

Location: Aibonito, Puerto Rico; onsite production environment with walking, standing, and production-rate physical demands.

What you will do

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Analyze end-to-end production processes, workflows, bottlenecks, waste, labor utilization, capacity, and demand to improve productivity and throughput.
• Conduct time studies, work measurement, line balancing, capacity analysis, and staffing-model optimization.
• Develop standardized work procedures, process documentation, dashboards, visual management tools, and KPI reports.
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, cost-reduction initiatives, and performance-improvement plans.
• Partner with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, administrative departments, and managers; support new product introductions, capital-investment analysis, employee training, and sustainment of best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related field, with more than three years of supervisory experience; operational excellence experience is also acceptable.
• Strong knowledge of hirify.global manufacturing processes, specifications, and procedures.
• Knowledge of GMP-QSRs, OSHA, BHEST, SPEC, SOP, and HR policies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including communication upward and downward through the administrative chain of command.
• Ability to work closely with administrative departments and managers.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, employees, and internal or external auditors.
• Light Work physical capacity: occasionally exert up to 20 pounds of force, frequently exert up to 10 pounds, and perform significant walking or standing or production-rate work.

• Previous experience in a regulated manufacturing FDA environment.
