Clinical Data Science Lead (Clinical Research)

What you will do

• Lead clinical data science activities across the study lifecycle, including data review and delivery milestones.
• Negotiate timelines and deliverables with clients, external customers, vendors, departments, and project leads.
• Perform analytic review focused on errors that may affect subject safety or interpretation of final analyses.
• Forecast budgets, hours, and resourcing; develop planning documents for data review, analytics, and deliverables.
• Provide input into clinical system development and clinical risk management activities, and participate in sponsor or third-party audits.
• Lead resources, track risks affecting scope, budget, or target dates, and collaborate with cross-functional and global groups.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of clinical data management experience in a clinical research organisation or pharmaceutical company.
• Experience leading multiple projects simultaneously and managing timelines.
• Experience across all steps of the data science lifecycle and most major data science study tasks.
• Proficiency in at least one clinical data management system, such as Medidata Rave, Inform, Oracle Clinical, or Veeva.
• Experience in data analytics and data validation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or local equivalent; an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered.
• Fluent English and the language of the host country are required.
• Approximately 15% domestic and/or international travel.
