Java Developer (Application Support)

What you will do

• Provide technical support for Java-based applications, APIs, and databases, troubleshooting issues and maintaining system stability and user experience.
• Investigate application errors through Java stack trace analysis, logging, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
• Use Java, Spring Framework, Oracle SQL, and Oracle SQL Developer to analyze application behavior, validate functionality, and resolve data or database issues.
• Troubleshoot AWS Lambda functions and cloud-based integrations using IntelliJ IDEA and AWS Cloud9.
• Develop and execute scripts with Python, PowerShell, and basic Unix commands for troubleshooting, data analysis, and operational support.
• Manage incoming support requests, prioritize incidents, document resolutions, communicate with stakeholders, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience using AI tools to enhance daily work, or a strong willingness to experiment, learn, and champion AI adoption.
• Understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Ability to oversee projects and execute deliverables.

Nice to have

• Claude Certified Developer or Architect certification is highly preferred; certification may be obtained as a hirify.global colleague.
