Systems Administrator (LIMS)

Location: Onsite in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States; five days per week. An in-person interview is required.

Salary: $40 per hour.

What you will do

• Own and support the public health laboratory client environment, including LabWare, Rees, Neometrix, and related platforms.
• Analyze laboratory workflows and implement enhancements, upgrades, validations, and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot systems, integrations, network infrastructure, equipment connectivity, file transfers, and data communications.
• Develop web accessioning pages, workflow tracking solutions, Crystal Reports, SQL-based reports, queries, and integrations.
• Create technical documentation and training materials, deliver end-user training, and collaborate with laboratory vendors and cross-functional technology teams.
• Lead technical investigations, support grant reviews and implementation reporting, and participate in governance, change management, prioritization, HIPAA compliance, and information security activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a scientific field.
• 4+ years of professional experience supporting Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
• Strong knowledge of medical laboratory operations, workflows, and federal laboratory regulations.
• Experience administering, configuring, upgrading, validating, and troubleshooting LIMS using SQL, Visual Basic, Visual Basic .NET, HTML, JScript.NET, XML, HL7, ASTM E1381, ASTM E1394, LIMS Basic, Script Parsers, FireDaemon, and Tomcat.
• Experience creating reports, queries, and integrations.
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
• Experience working with laboratory vendors and cross-functional technology teams.
• Ability to work onsite in Oklahoma City five days per week and attend a one-round in-person interview.
• Ability to safely perform essential job functions, conduct sedentary computer-based work, and occasionally move around the office for meetings.
