Corporate Strategy - Associate (Fintech)

Location: Boston, United States; applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring employer sponsorship.

Base pay: $73,125–$127,500 USD annually.

What you will do

• Support senior leadership in evaluating business performance, strategic priorities, and complex business needs through financial, operational, market, and performance analysis.
• Develop insights, recommendations, management-ready updates, presentations, scorecards, and reporting materials to support decision-making.
• Assess business needs, identify improvement opportunities, and develop solutions to enhance efficiency and simplify processes.
• Contribute to complex cross-functional projects by coordinating stakeholders, documenting decisions, and tracking actions through completion.
• Conduct benchmarking, trend analysis, root-cause analysis, and ad hoc analyses with limited supervision.
• Support governance and operational initiatives including Risk Management, Records Management, and Business Continuity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or an equivalent field.
• 5+ years of relevant business planning, project, and financial experience.
• 5+ years of experience in administrative support, project management, implementation, business operations, or strategic planning in financial services.
• 5+ years of experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership.
• Ability to build effective relationships across functions and with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Proactive, self-motivated, adaptable, intellectually curious, and able to work with limited supervision.
• Understanding of fundamental financial and business concepts, including interpreting financial and performance information and drawing insights.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, research, synthesis, presentation, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a matrixed environment while adapting to changing requirements and timelines.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and strong working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of the banking industry, including products, services, and fundamental risk-management concepts.
