Associate Systems Engineer (Integrations/SQL)

What you will do

• Build and maintain integrations between cloud and on-premises systems using APIs, web services, and integration platforms.
• Meet with College staff to understand business processes and requirements before designing automated solutions.
• Design forms and automated workflows using hirify.global Intelligent Processes and Integration Management.
• Write PostgreSQL/SQL queries and develop reports using College data sources.
• Monitor integrations and automations, troubleshoot errors, and resolve failures to ensure reliable data processing.
• Document integrations, workflows, data mappings, and processes for ongoing maintenance.

Requirements

• Experience in a business analytics role, including process definition, management and monitoring, release management, web experience, databases, and SAP Business Objects.
• Experience creating Business Requirement Documents, User Requirement Specifications, and Functional Requirement Specifications.
• Experience creating Data Flow, Use Case, State, Sequence, Component, and Activity diagrams.
• Experience with data governance, data standards, or other data management business processes.
• Experience designing and delivering reporting capabilities to end users.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a collaborative work style, and the ability to work under tight deadlines while handling multiple tasks.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript, JSON, APIs, web services, PostgreSQL, and SQL for integrations, reporting, data analysis, querying, and troubleshooting.

• Ability to quickly learn new software applications.
• Experience with hirify.global Colleague or other Student Information Systems.
• Experience with SAP Business Objects or other Business Intelligence tools.
• Experience managing large and complex projects.
