Product Manager, Deploy Models (AI)

Location: San Francisco; on-site

Base salary: $120,000–$170,000 per year; stock options may be offered in addition.

What you will do

• Own the roadmap, functional requirements, portfolio, and development timelines for Deploy Models.
• Work cross-functionally with Machine Learning, Core Infrastructure, Product, executive, and customer stakeholders.
• Oversee product execution from inception through delivery and communicate product benefits to users and internal stakeholders.
• Help teams estimate and decompose complex projects, create delivery plans, and track progress.
• Envision and execute deep learning models capable of human-like interpretation of video, image, audio, and text.
• Measure engineering velocity, improve delivery speed and security, maintain data-handling best practices, and report suspected security or policy violations.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field.
• 2–3 years of combined Machine Learning and Product Management experience.
• Hands-on experience with modern machine learning libraries, frameworks, and technologies.
• Working knowledge of functional programming languages such as Python or Node.js.
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience leading a team and implementing team goals and deadlines.
• Comfort working in a constantly changing, uncertain, and sometimes chaotic environment.
• Detail-oriented, organized, collaborative, and hands-on approach.
• Commitment to continuous product improvement beyond shipping new products.
