Customer Solutions Architect (PostgreSQL)

Location: Remote, APAC; fully remote and globally distributed, with the ability to work from anywhere.

What you will do

• Lead technical discovery to uncover business and technical objectives, define success criteria, and set expectations for the Supabase platform.
• Design, build, and present Supabase demonstrations for high-value Team and Enterprise customers, using clear technical storytelling.
• Work with Growth to size deals, estimate anticipated usage, and identify workloads supported by the platform.
• Define and lead proof-of-value implementations, including timelines, technical scope, business outcomes, and success criteria.
• Guide new customers through onboarding and adoption using emails, documentation, guides, and webinars.
• Deliver architecture assessments, database design, performance optimization, customer engagements, account planning, and platform feedback in collaboration with Support, Product, and Engineering.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant experience in Solutions Architecture, Database Engineering, or a similar field.
• Strong experience with relational database management systems such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience with web application development and familiarity with Python, C#, JavaScript frameworks including React, Vue, and Svelte, and Node.js.
• Very strong communication skills, including the ability to translate business needs into technical outcomes and technical concepts into organizational impact.
• Strong organization, storytelling, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to mediate conflicting stakeholder opinions.
• Experience with project management, business analysis, and revenue operations tools; HubSpot and BigQuery are used at Supabase.
• Previous experience leading customer-facing engagements that delivered meaningful technical and business value.
