Full Stack Engineer (All Levels) (AI)

Location: Hybrid, based out of the San Francisco, CA or New York, NY office; in-office work required on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Base pay: $170,000–$250,000 per year.

hirify.global is a Series A startup building an AI-native disputes automation and fraud prevention platform for financial institutions, focused on automating disputes, preventing first-party fraud, and improving manual back-office workflows.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain reliable backend systems integrating with credit card, banking, and merchant platforms for chargeback management.
• Scale and generalize the platform to support configurable, flexible workflows and a broad range of use cases.
• Architect microservices patterns and develop reusable backend frameworks and libraries.
• Upgrade coding practices, CI/CD pipelines, deployed systems, backend programming languages, and third-party dependencies to improve performance and security.
• Identify and implement infrastructure and systems optimizations that improve operational efficiency and product quality.
• Own end-to-end development and deployment of key features, including technology-stack and system-design decisions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience, including at least 2 years using Go or Java in production.
• Experience working on platform teams and contributing significantly to system architecture.
• Experience leading the end-to-end implementation of a key product feature or the re-architecture or upgrade of a key platform service.
• Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of software fundamentals, algorithms, data structures, and industry design patterns.
• Experience mentoring junior team members and leading project teams as the sole tech lead.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
