What you will do

• Influence the technical direction of large-scale projects and deliver remarkable software products for hirify.global and its clients.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership to development teams, champion software quality, and apply architectural and DevOps practices.
• Coach, mentor, and provide regular feedback to developers while contributing to the growth of the wider engineering community.
• Collaborate with operations teams on recruitment, client projects, business representation, and the wider digital community.
• Develop technical solutions that strengthen client relationships and enable new business opportunities.
• Evaluate technologies and strategic platforms, guide build-versus-buy decisions, and shape delivery standards, templates, tools, and accelerators.

Requirements

• Software engineering experience across the whole stack, with a specialism in Java and backend development.
• Experience providing technical leadership while remaining hands-on with development teams, understanding high-quality code, seeing the wider picture, applying architecture, and using a DevOps mindset.
• Experience mentoring developers and sharing and receiving regular feedback.
• Experience collaborating with operations teams on recruitment, client projects, and participation in the wider digital community.
• Experience as a senior team member in Scrum or Kanban teams, applying best practices and common teamwork techniques.
• Practical experience with and understanding of AI at scale within a current role or organisation.
• Hands-on experience guiding and driving technical strategy for enterprise artificial intelligence solutions.
• Strong consultative skills, including open questioning to uncover core client problems and identify opportunities for impact and value.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, solve complex problems collaboratively, communicate clearly, build trust, balance multiple priorities, manage time effectively, and contribute beyond client delivery.
