Manager, Salesforce Engineering

What you will do

• Lead, manage, mentor, and develop the Salesforce engineering team.
• Plan, execute, and deliver Salesforce engineering projects within scope, timelines, budget, and business objectives.
• Provide technical leadership across Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, Salesforce integrations, and data migration.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into technical specifications and scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Establish engineering practices covering code reviews, testing, documentation, quality assurance, and security compliance.
• Oversee Salesforce DevOps, including CI/CD, automated testing, source control, deployment management, and platform performance optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Salesforce engineering or Salesforce development, including 2+ years in a Salesforce development leadership or management role.
• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, Salesforce integrations, and data migration.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and products, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Salesforce CPQ.
• Experience developing and managing integrations using APIs, middleware, and related technologies.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools such as Git, Jenkins, or Gearset.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools.
• Strong leadership, team management, communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards for technical quality and delivery.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I, Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce Sales Cloud, and Salesforce Service Cloud certifications.
• Additional certifications such as Salesforce Platform Developer II, Salesforce JavaScript Developer I, or Salesforce Experience Cloud.
• Experience with data migration and ETL tools.
