Senior Cyber Security Researcher (AI)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden; hybrid work with attendance at the Stockholm office at least 3 days per week. Candidates must already possess a valid work visa for Sweden. Visa sponsorship and relocation assistance are not available.

What you will do

• Develop proof-of-concepts for novel vulnerability detection methods and broaden the coverage of automated detection engines.
• Track security research, disclosures, attack techniques, and vulnerability sources to identify opportunities for scalable detection.
• Research automatable attack vectors and vulnerability classes.
• Design and build agentic workflows using AI to uncover vulnerabilities and 0-days.
• Reverse engineer binaries, review detection code, improve test accuracy, and minimize false positives.
• Advise colleagues and speak with customers to understand attack surfaces and shape research priorities.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience finding and exploiting live vulnerabilities through bug bounty programs, CVEs, CTFs, penetration testing, or published research.
• Deep knowledge of web application security and common vulnerability classes, including OWASP Top 10 and beyond.
• Solid programming or scripting skills, such as Python or Go, with the ability to turn ideas into working proof-of-concepts.
• Curiosity about using LLMs and AI agents in offensive security, or experience building with them.
• Ability to explain technical findings clearly to engineers, customers, and non-security stakeholders.
• Versatility, self-motivation, ability to create and drive change, active participation in the security community, and understanding of how vulnerabilities work.
• Valid work visa for Sweden; visa sponsorship and relocation assistance are unavailable.

Nice to have

• Experience with reverse engineering.
• Publicly disclosed vulnerabilities, written blog posts, or given talks at security conferences.
