Senior Powertrain Calibration Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Shanghai, China; onsite role.

What you will do

• Independently calibrate and plan vehicle base and emissions functions for PHEV and HEV variants.
• Support and mentor junior calibration engineers on major SOP vehicle programs.
• Support technical issue resolution and planning across multiple vehicle variants for SOP.
• Support series production launches in cooperation with customers.
• Apply knowledge of internal combustion engines, state-of-the-art after-treatment, and EMS calibration.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in vehicle calibration programs covering ICE, hybrid, or EV.
• At least 3 years of experience in vehicle SOP program management.
• Previous independent calibration experience with ICE functions related to vehicle base and emissions and/or OBD for SOP projects.
• Knowledge of OEM calibration quality-gate processes and data management.
• Good understanding of UAES and Bosch EMS control systems.
• Strong technical calibration skills to ensure data quality.
