What you will do

• Support pilot-scale manufacturing operations and execute established upstream or downstream processing activities.
• Plan daily activities and coordinate plant equipment, materials, and resources for batch execution.
• Prepare and maintain accurate batch records, data forms, and process documentation.
• Coordinate raw material and consumable availability with warehouse colleagues, scientists, and the Pilot Operations team.
• Maintain laboratory and pilot plant areas, equipment, cleanliness, and organisation in line with quality, health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Check scientific data and batch documentation, communicate discrepancies, and contribute to continuous improvement, process efficiency, productivity, and product yield.

Requirements

• Interest in biotechnology, biological sciences, or biopharmaceutical manufacturing, with willingness to develop practical technical skills.
• Working toward a degree or vocational qualification in biological sciences, biochemical engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant skills and abilities.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow written procedures, and ability to maintain accurate scientific records.
• Confidence working with numerical data and recognising results or information that may require further investigation.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate with scientists and colleagues across a team.
• Organised, proactive approach to planning daily activities, managing materials, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
