Subject Matter Expert - Infrastructure as Code & DevOps Automation (Agentic AI)

Location: Remote in Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Chile, or Costa Rica

What you will do

• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform and OpenTofu for cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for configuration management, application deployment, and system patching.
• Architect and optimize enterprise Ansible Tower/AWX environments, including RBAC, credential management, and workflow orchestration.
• Lead adoption of agentic AI capabilities and integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and ticketing platforms.
• Establish automation stahirify.globalrds and frameworks, conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and document architectures, runbooks, and procedures.
• Collaborate with Cloud, Infrastructure, and Security teams to embed automation across IT operations and evaluate new tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT infrastructure and systems administration experience.
• Expert-level Terraform and/or OpenTofu proficiency, including management of complex infrastructure states.
• Advanced Ansible expertise and production experience designing and maintaining Ansible Tower or AWX.
• Strong Python programming skills, including custom modules, plugins, and automation scripts.
• Deep understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code best practices.
• Experience with public cloud platforms, specifically Azure and GCP, plus hybrid and on-premises infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, including experience resolving production incidents.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
• Technical skills include Terraform, OpenTofu, CloudFormation, Ansible, Ansible Tower, AWX, Python, Bash, Go, HCL, PowerShell, AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid infrastructure at the levels specified in the technical skills matrix.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience implementing and managing agentic AI solutions for IT operations automation.
• Experience with advanced Ansible Tower features such as workflows, dynamic inventory, and LDAP/SAML integration.
• Familiarity with CMDB systems and ServiceNow integrations.
• Knowledge of GitOps methodologies and tools such as ArgoCD and Flux.
• HashiCorp Certified Terraform Associate, Ansible Specialist, or equivalent cloud/infrastructure certifications.
• Open-source project contributions or demonstrated thought leadership in infrastructure automation.
