Senior Delivery Manager, Data & Models (Fintech)

Location: Remote, United States; ability to travel approximately 4+ times per year for in-person collaboration; hirify.global is not sponsoring new applicant employment authorization.

Annual full-time starting base salary: $117,000–$152,000, plus eligibility for annual incentive and equity programs.

What you will do

• Own the delivery roadmap for data and model initiatives across business verticals, including milestones, dependencies, sequencing, risks, and next steps.
• Coordinate delivery across data engineering, data science, credit, risk, and compliance, surfacing dependencies and driving cross-team issues to resolution.
• Build the delivery playbook for model development, validation, deployment, credit policy updates, approval flows, and handoffs.
• Prepare models for governance review and manage delivery practices for data pipelines, platforms, data products, and data quality remediation.
• Act as the operational point of contact for second-line credit and model risk management bank oversight.
• Improve planning and delivery through delivery metrics, retrospectives, and informal guidance for less experienced delivery colleagues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in program or project delivery, ideally in financial services, fintech, or a data-heavy environment.
• Experience leading multiple concurrent initiatives spanning three or more cross-functional teams, including technical teams.
• Working knowledge of the data and model development lifecycle, including data engineering, development, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Experience with model governance, model risk management, or formal review and approval processes in a regulated environment.
• Experience building delivery structures, processes, or standards for intake, documentation, status reporting, and handoffs that teams adopted and sustained.
• Clear, direct written and verbal communication, with ownership, status, and next steps unambiguous.
• Experience calibrating escalation to senior leaders and determining what to raise or resolve directly.
• Experience informally guiding or coaching colleagues without formal management authority.
• Ability to travel approximately 4+ times per year for in-person collaboration.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with second-line oversight or bank regulator expectations for model risk management, including SR 11-7, model validation, or regulatory exams.
• Experience delivering data platform, pipeline, or analytics initiatives alongside credit risk or other financial models.
• Experience establishing a new function or process without an existing approach.
